The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying households.
You may qualify if an eligible member of your household qualifies for the Lifeline program, is within the 135% of Federal Poverty Level, or meets the qualifications for other government assisted programs since February 29, 2020.
There are certain steps that must be taken to receive this discount.
Step 1 – Check to see if you qualify.
Step 2 – If you participate in one of the qualifying government programs, complete the EBB application. (This step is not necessary if you are currently receiving a Lifeline discount on your Green Hills bill. Contact our office to determine your next step.)
Step 3 – Contact our office at 660-644-5411 after receiving the approval e-mail from the National Verifier, so we can submit the appropriate information to the National Lifeline Accountability Database (NLAD).
Step 4 – Once Green Hills receives the final approval from NLAD, we will have you complete the EBBP Customer Enrollment Opt-In Form and the credit will be applied to your account.
